I recently attended a rather interesting Beauty Fest organised by Westside,it was literally 'My Beauty Playground'.
Westside recently launched it's in-house line of cosmetics and makeup called StudioWest and for the same they had a preview event at their flagship store at Infiniti Mall, Andheri with a select group of beauty bloggers to get a first hand experience of their new range and simply play around with the new launches. I was part of the elite group of beauty bloggers and can't wait to share my experience with you.
With everything from body lotions, scrubs, perfumes to shower gels and a rather delectable variety of lipsticks, nail-polishes to eye-shadows, StudioWest really impressed by encompassing everything one could look out for in the beauty category under one label.

I absolutely loved how StudioWest was presented in a circular kiosk with all their products arranged beautifully section wise.
The event was a fun filled soiree and begun with makeup expert
Pallavi Symons creating a range of different make up looks using the Studio West products and also shared some useful makeup tips and tricks too.

The StudioWest - exclusive collection of cosmetics consist of two ranges: Pure Passion and Maaya. The colors & textures are designed specifically to flatter Indian complexion and work well with our tropical weather.
Pure Passion: with its lightweight textures, vibrant hues and flawless finishes encourages women to experiment with makeup and reinvent their look. It has more of earthy nudes, peaches and light pinks. It is perfect for everyday makeup at work, college or for running errands.
Maaya: with its gorgeous shimmer textures, dazzling hues, is perfect to add glamour to all your special occasions. Maya is the 'fancy' range that is perfect for the Indian festive season and weddings. Glitter, shimmer and bright pops of colour are the main highlights of this line.
The StudioWest cosmetics have an amazing collection of lipsticks, nail polishes, glosses, blushes, mascara etc. I tried on some of their lipsticks & nail polishes and especially loved the bright shades.
StudioWest has also come up with some gorgeous shades in nail polishes from nudes, to whites to corals, reds to fuchsias, you are bound to find your perfect shade.

They also have some interestingly named perfumes I was quite taken up by - Ibiza Power for Her, Ibiza Power for him, Maaya & Dark Valour.
They also have Indulge by StudioWest with a delightful rage of bath and body products in some exotic fragrances like Romantic Rose, Jasmine and Calming Lavender.

And all the awesomeness didn't end there, we got to take some amazing goodies home to try it out for ourselves,apart from the StudioWest products, I also got a bunch of other makeup products from Maybelline, L’Oreal, LYN and Lakme and it included my current favorite - the Lakme Lip Pout Range.
Overall I feel Westside has done a pretty amazing job by launching this brand which is quite affordable & has fabulous array of products in shades that complement the Indian skin tone. Their eye-shadow palettes are interesting & their lipstick collection has some really gorgeous shades.
