In 1991, Azria’s wife, Lubov, joined BCBGMAXAZRIA as a pattern maker and today leads the brand as the Chief Creative Officer. BCBG stands for the French phrase, "bon chic, bon genre," meaning, "good style, good attitude." It is a brand that embodies a vision of global style and attitude.

Launch in India
The store launched the brand’s Spring 2015 collection, which combines timeless elegance with nonchalant bohemian silhouettes. Tapestry and abstract floral prints are inspired by the color reform concept, lending, a sun-bleached softness and richness that create a chromatic experience. Distinctive, with a touch of ethereal, the collection embodies her carefree spirit, creating a lasting impression. The BCBGMAXAZRIA collection will be available in between Rs. 6000 to Rs. 40000.

long-term license agreement with Reliance Brands Limited, a part of the Reliance
Industries Group, to launch BCBGMAXAZRIA and BCBG Generation in India.
To mark the launch of BCBGMAXAZRIA in India, I was given the fabulous opportunity to style one of their exquisite creations. I chose this breathtakingly stunning cocktail gown in lace and the prettiest blush pink shade. It's called the Sonya Sleeveless Lace-Blocked Gown and you see it on the BCBG website here. With today's look I tried to embody a girl's dream in lace, flowers, crystals and pearls. There are few occasions in a woman's life that she can make herself feel like a real princess and that is exactly how I felt in this gorgeous BCBG blush lace gown.
I absolutely loved the waist-defining silhouette of the Sonya gown, it fits like a total dream. The gown has an elegant halter V-neckline,shoulder straps, an empire waistline, tonal straps and lace-blocking throughout. The gown is elegance as well as sensuality personified.
Keeping in tone with the lady-like flair of the look, I accessorised the gown with pearl jewellery - small pearl stud earrings, I layered a blush pink pearl necklace with another pearl layered necklace with an elegant pendant, pearl rings and some pearl bracelets.
A crystal embellished box clutch and crystal embellished heels add the perfect glamorous touch to this gorgeous BCBG Gown. Soft curls, pink & a silver manicure, pink lips, blush pink cheeks and eyes complement this dreamy look perfectly.
This BCBG gown is the perfect choice for a cocktail party or a summer wedding you have to attend.
